Our obstetrics scans are conducted by a highly skilled sonographer with experience at University College London Hospital and King's College Hospital Fetal Medicine Unit.

Gender Scan

From 14 weeks, we can identify your baby's gender with 99.9% accuracy. However, ultrasound cannot guarantee 100% certainty as some fetuses may present ambiguity.

Early Pregnancy Scan

An early pregnancy scan from 6 weeks is advised for those with a history of miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy, as well as in cases of bleeding or lower abdominal pain. This scan is also helpful when the date of the last menstrual period is unclear or if multiple gestation is suspected, enabling accurate assessment of chorionicity and amnionicity.

The dating scan, typically conducted between 8-14 weeks of pregnancy, intended to assess your baby's wellbeing and offer tranquility as early as 8 weeks gestation up to 14 weeks, aims for a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

The 3D and 4D scan opens up a whole way to experience, share and cherish the joy of your new family addition. Allowing you to see your baby in clear detail. 4D refers to ‘real time’ moving of your unborn baby and 3D images are still images.

Growth Scan

Typically conducted at 28, 32, and 36 weeks of pregnancy, this ultrasound scan is recommended by some obstetricians for all women. However, others suggest it is only for patients with a history of pregnancy complications like pre-eclampsia, growth restriction, diabetes, stillbirth or those experiencing issues in their current pregnancy.

There is a £20 surcharge for twins & multiple pregnancies due to the extra time required in the scan.

£20 deposit is required to confirm the booking.

What do I need to bring with me at my appointment?: Please bring along your hospital notes and reports if you have it.
How many Guests can come with me?: We are happy for family to attend with children.
Who will perform the scan?: All Obstetrics scans are performed by a highly experienced sonographer who worked at Unversity College London Hospital and Kings college Hospital Fetal Medicine Unit.
All of our sonographers are qualified with diagnostic obstetric and General ulltrasound scanning experience and work within the NHS alongside their role with Ultrasound Partners Ltd.
Do I still need to attend NHS appintments?: Yes, our services are a complementary service, which works alongside the NHS. Please note, our scans do not replace any of your NHS scans.
Would you advise me of any abnormalities?: During your appointment a general well-being check is performed on the baby, in an event of any abnormality being detected, we will discuss this with you and provide a full report for you to forward to your health practitioner.
Do I need to have a full Bladder for the scan: Only Early pregnancy and Dating scans require a full bladder.
